Shipping & Receiving Clerk

This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Lead

This position is responsible for the receipt and shipment of product. This position is important because timely and accurate receipt of product supports our short lead times on many levels, and the proper preservation of outgoing goods maintains product quality and integrity for our customers.

Core Duties:

Physically and electronically receive incoming product

Maintains incoming and outgoing product staging areas; and the product within these areas

Assemble orders and package goods for safe shipment

Prepare paperwork for customer and vender destinations

Arrange pick up and delivery with a variety of transportation specialists, such as but not limited to UPS, FedEx, courier service

Safely operate forklift to load, unload, and transport product.

Additional duties may be assigned to assist in other departments


High school diploma or equivalent

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to follow directions and work well under limited supervision

Ability to safely operate forklift

Must work well with others

Have a valid driver license

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 30lbs frequently

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Must be able to carry items from one area of the facility to the other

Must be able to kneel, stoop, and climb a ladder to reach upper shelves


This position requires exposure to ITAR controlled data. Employment offer will be contingent on special permission obtained by the DOD for applicants who do not meet the 22 CFR §120.15 definition of US Person.
